How to generate money from a Blog or Web Site

Let me start by saying that there are numerous methods to generate an income from your website or web blog. But all these methods have one thing in common, but they all revolve around advertising in some way shape or form.

The first three ways to generate money from a website are (in no particular order) Google Adsense, Commission Junction and ClickBank. Each method is completely free to install and extremely easy to use. So let me try to explain how each of the medium creates an income for you.

Adsense: Google Adsense is an advertising method that works via (PPC) Pay-Per-Click. So, for every person who clicks on an ad that is displayed on your site. You are rewarded with an amount of money each amount varies on what you're advertising and you're advertising to.

Now, the nice thing about this method is Google automatically decides which ads to display on your site. Each ad is targeted to the content of your site, that there is no building to do for you. All you have to do is cut and paste the ad code on your site and Google does the rest. For an example of a Google ad, look towards the bottom of this article.

Commission Junction: Now, this is an extremely effective way to generate a great income. How it works is simple, apply for the program, chose a publisher. Then display their ads on your site. It works better if you advertise something that fits with the theme of your site. So, let's say the site was based on music, then you have to advertise a music company. That said, this method works for commission. You are rewarded for each user that signs up for a service or buys a product / item after clicking on your ads.

Once a user has clicked on your ad, you will be rewarded with a commission, each commission varies via who you advertise and what you purchase. Now, the beauty of Commission Junction is, who you advertise, it gives you a free banner / text ads for display on your site. This makes the sale of their products extremely easy and almost without effort on your behalf. Unfortunately, you do not get pay-per-click, and users are less likely to buy a product instead of clicking on an ad.

ClickBank: This method works just like Commission Junction, you are rewarded by the Commission based on what you sell. The only difference between the two is that Commission Junction allows you to sell virtually anything. When I say "nothing" I mean any product that can be used online or at home. Whereas, ClickBank only allows you to sell information / digital products (products that can be used only on a computer). Moreover, unlike Commission Junction, ClickBank does not offer banners to help sell the product.

So, as briefly explored above, there are 3 main methods that are used by the masters of the web site to generate an income. For more information on how to register for each program, visit the following link .......
