SEO 101 - What is SEO?

Most people are a bit 'confused when it comes to SEO and what it is. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Now search engine optimization is what allows search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. to find your website based on what you offer or sell and what consumers are looking for. And 'their method of creating an order to all the sites out there that carry similar products or sell services or simply provide similar information. The result of using SEO is just that, at the bottom of the order of how web pages are classified to the consumer.

SEO is a method of ranking.

SEO gives the researcher the game as close as possible to what they are looking for. Let's say you specialize in selling electronics. You might think to be generic and broad that it can attract everyone to your site that is looking for electronics, but the truth is that most people exactly what they are looking for.

SEO makes it easier for consumers to find exactly what they need.

So, if you sell all kinds of electronics, it is in your interest to write about each of these products on your page. You want to write that sell cameras and portable DVD players and flat-screen TV. But you also want to have keywords in the page that say digital cameras, cheap cameras, cameras, Kodak and Fuji cameras best rated cameras, best buy consumer cameras, etc. etc. because that's what people are looking for. If you do not mention these things in your page, search engines can not offer and it will page of a competitor who does this first page. So if I'm looking for the best deal on cheap Kodak cameras, I will get the site to someone who can sell me or give me information on "cheap, Kodak Cameras" before getting the page where I can buy just the cameras.

This is SEO 101.

Now do not necessarily have the words in the same order, but all must be included; cheap digital cameras, Kodak cameras, etc. SEO is using keywords on your pages that consumers are typing into their search boxes. Keywords are the details of your product because most people know or think they know exactly what they want and we will try for this and for your page to be classified is necessary to have those included .......
