Studio On The Market Cars

According to a report by the car platform AutoScout 24 European countries with higher per capita income are those that show a greater affection for the car called "mileuristas", ie for cars with low price and high mileage. These countries are Belgium, Holland and Germany, while Spain, Italy and France, countries with low economic capacity, are less likely to opt for these cars.

This study breaks with the general belief that demand for cars is directly related to the purchasing power of drivers, since most defendants are in countries with greater economic capacity per inhabitant. Autoscout24, company that manages 40% of used car transactions in Spain, also reveals that the determining factor when buying a car is its price, regardless of mileage and age.

The car called "mileuristas" are those that have a value less than 3,000 Euros, and in Spain the demand represents 17% of the car market, slightly below the European average of 18%. This ranking is headed by Germany, Belgium and Holland, which have percentages of 25%, 21% and 18% respectively. By contrast, Europeans less rooted on the cars are the Italians, since only 11% of their drivers are opting for this type of vehicle.

It is thus shown that the purchasing power is not the only determining factor when a driver decides to change his vehicle, but there are many more factors that influence the decision. Its fuel consumption, C02 emissions, equipment, benefits, needs to be met, reliability, depreciation of its value ... all of these reasons should also be appreciated when buying a car, beyond if your price is higher or lower.
